Position on Issues of National Public Interest

Health - Education - Welfare

Ordinarily, national health, national education and national welfare programs are treated as separate issues of concern. Here I view them as a single concern, for reasons below:

There are fourteen Executive Agencies at the Cabinet Level of the Executive Branch of Federal Government. Three separate Executive Agencies carry out the national health, education and welfare programs, by whatever administration is in power and control of the Executive Branch of Government. These are: Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Next to money, nothing concerns the individual more than care for his health, his education and his welfare. (I prefer the term 'well-being' to 'welfare'. 'Welfare', as practiced by Federal government today, means 'hand-out. 'Well-being' does not depend on or involve tin- cup 'hand-outs'.)

The 'socialist' administration of government came into power and stays in power, election after election, by the 'socialist' (under the Democrat or Republican Party label). It is the 'socialist' who promises and delivers health, education and 'hand-out' programs to their constituents.

Once upon a time, you could say, to crticize the existence of these national programs would be to criticize 'motherhood'. You can't say that any more because, 'motherhood', in the union of marriage, no longer occupies a position of honor and respect.

The role of 'motherhood' has been taken over by these national programs. Certainly, the moral fiber and strength of character of the national population has not been served or advanced by or through the existence of these national programs.

These Executive Agencies can't be abolished or put out of business overnight, or you would have panic and riots in the streets, but they can be phased out over a period of time, beginning with 'Corrective Actions' proposed for the 21st Century.

Original and successive generations of the United States didn't require the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services (HHS), and Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to build the United States into the most powerful industrial nation on Earth. (This is no longer true. With deliberate destruction of the industrial engineering and manufacturing facilities of the U.S., through deliberate inflation of the U.S. dollar, the U.S. has become a begger nation, living on laurels of the past.)

The strength and character of the individual U.S. citizen (or any citizen of any other nation) is not served by the existence of the like of these Executive Agencies and administration of these national programs put in place as a substitute for 'motherhood'.

Systematic destruction of the industrial power of the United States, through destructive monetary and fiscal policy of the last fifty years, gave 'socialists' the excuses and arguments they needed to establish these Executive Agencies and their programs, in flagrant violation and perversion of the original U.S. Constitution for self-government by its citizens.

I did find, in the last of the ten amendments known as the Bill of Rights, the following:

"Article X - The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

Fact: All 'States Rights' have been assumed and are now embedded in and at the 'federal level' of government.

These three Executive Agencies (Departments of Education, Health and Human Services (HHS), and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) need to be abolished, for re-structuring purposes - to begin restoration of the responsibilities to parents in the union of marriage, to the private business structures responsible for industry and manufacture of product, and to the practitioners of the private practice of the medical profession.

Following is an example of socialist ideology originated by Socrates from Plato's Republic - Book II (The life of a well-ordered state and education of its soldier citizens in music and gymnastics, and in the right ideas of God).

From Page 278: "You know also that the beginning is the most important part of any work, especially in the case of a young and tender thing; for that is the time at which the character is being formed and the desired impression is more readily taken."

From page 279: "... the first thing will be to establish a censorship of the writers of fiction, and let the censors receive any tale of fiction which is good, and reject the bad; and we will desire mothers and nurses to tell their children the authorized ones only."

Here you have it (from more than two thousand years ago). The teachings of 'Socrates' have functioned, and continues to function, as a 'blueprint' for construction and maintenace of the socialist state - at both the domestic and international levels of control of the human population on Earth.
