1 July 1997
Edward Heath the ex Conservative Prime Minister who sold the UK music industry down the river when he signed the Common Market Agreement with Europe in 1972 and Lord Howe, close friend of Lady (then) Margaret Thatcher are to break the British boycott of the Swearing-in of the nonelected Leaders of the new Hong Hong. Both Prime Minister Tony Blair and Foreign Secretary Robin Cook have refused to attend the ceremony saying that their non-attendence is not meant as a "slight" against the new and probably inhumane regime currently bringing many workers in the USA unemployment problems both now and in the future with their recently aquired affilations to K-Mart and the other treacherous companies now beginning to import vast quantities of Chinese goods into the USA. After the encapsulation of Hong Kong is complete, China is expected to increase pressure upon the President of the United States to increase the trade dimension of its "Most Favoured Nation" status. Most British citizens in no way wish to associate themselves with Heath and Howe's attempts to ingratiate themselves with Beijing. But the Conservative Party has never been "hot" on human rights, even those currently missing inside its own nation.
